A clinical research study at Lonestar Research in Dallas is seeking adults 18 to 75 with metabolic health concerns, with or at risk for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Individuals may qualify if they have two or more metabolic risk factors such as obesity, high triglycerides, low HDL cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, or high blood pressure. Adults with suspected MASH must have at least one of the following: enhanced liver fibrosis, a liver biopsy consistent with MASH, or a FibroScan. FibroScan and liver scans can be performed on-site to determine eligibility.

MASH is a liver condition linked to metabolic health issues such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, high triglycerides, and low HDL cholesterol. Unlike conditions that cause pain and obvious symptoms, MASH often develops silently, meaning most people are unaware they have it until liver damage goes too far.
Adults 18 to 75 with at least two of the following health concerns: obesity, high triglycerides, reduced HDL cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, or high blood pressure may qualify. Adults with suspected MASH must have had one of the following components: enhanced liver fibrosis, a liver biopsy consistent with MASH, or a FibroScan. FibroScan and liver scans can be performed on-site to determine eligibility.
By taking part, you’re contributing to important research that could help advance future MASH treatment options. Â
