Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a chronic mental health condition characterized by intrusive, recurring thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors (compulsions). These symptoms can be time-consuming, distressing, and significantly disrupt daily life. While occasional intrusive thoughts or rituals are common, individuals with OCD often feel powerless to control these behaviors, even when they recognize they’re excessive.
This clinical research study is designed to assess the potential of a new investigational medication to reduce OCD symptoms and improve overall functioning. In addition to measuring its effectiveness, researchers will closely monitor the drug’s safety and tolerability in participants.
By choosing to participate, you can play a vital role in potentially advancing future treatment options and improving the quality of care for individuals living with OCD.
